NEVER SHOP HERE

i payed full price for a bedroom set and full mattress. what came was garbage. they gave me a queen sized mattress, the wrong bed and damaged and scratched furniture. they didnt even give me the night stands that was part of the set. the man kept delaying the dekivery for 3 weeks. i was told i was going to get brand new furniture but they lied and gave me used ones and not what i ordered. when i try to call them now they hang up and start yelling at you. when i ask them for the owner or manager they never give him to you and when they finally did it wasnt even the manager

It has been over two months and they have still not delivered the furniture. We approached them several times and staff is very rude and has only one answer "It is not in stock - we will deliver Next Week" We have filed the complaint to consumer court and now will proceed with legal remedy. If you purchase from Rooms Furniture in Brampton, you will not get the item delivered. I was promised Dec 14th, then Dec. 18, then Dec 20 and it was confirmed on truck on Dec. 20th. I still do not have my furniture. Worst company to deal with, they lie thru their teeth. They also deal with TD Bank which will be getting a call from me as well. This delay and NO DELIVERY is wrecking my Christmas as I am waiting for my furniture in order to put up my tree. Word of mouth or repeat business is definitely a NO. I will NEVER shop there again. They have my money and I have NO FURNITURE.

1 month later and I am still waiting for my refund (I cancelled with a 25% cancellation fee). Still Not resolved.

They promised me that my refund would be processed but STILL NO REFUND. DO NOT SHOP there.

Horible service....I will never go back to this place again. I ordered a table and sofa, paid the full amount with delivery and they told me I will receive my delivery on Monday from 1-8 so I booked the service elevator in advance (which you need to do living in a condo with a deposit) I took half day from work and sat home all day waiting for the shipment, I kept calling and they kept putting me on hold or transferring me to voicemail (which was full) At 7:45pm finally get someone and they said, truck broke down and can't do today, will do tomorrow. I get a call the next day saying delivery will be from 1-8, I again had to book the elevator and I called 3x throughout the day to confirm and they said 5-8pm I will get shipment. I call again at 7pm to inquire and they said at 8:30pm I will get it and advised cannot be past 8pm as elevator is booked till 8pm and they said too bad if truck comes at 830pm we can't do anything, explained no that's not acceptable because security won't let them through. I call again at 745pm and they tell me "actually we called warehouse and they don't even have your shipment in stock" i completely lost my mind. I still don't have my shipment and now currently in process of cancelling my order because if this is how their handling my shipping, knowing their stupidity I will get the wrong order from them and be stuck with something I didn't order. STAY AWAY!!! Trust me....on top of that they have the worst customer service skill and can't take any ownership of their stupidity

Wrong Furniture delivered

I ordered a sectional and given a delivery date, it was delivered, but then I found out it was not the one I had ordered. I took photo's and went back to the store to show them the difference in the one I had and the one in the showroom. They agreed this was not the same. They did their best for me, although I did have to wait about 10 days, but then they did have it delivered personally and they picked up the incorrect one at the same time. It was all an inconvenience but in the end they did what had to be done and I am very happy with the sectional. I purchased mine in St. Catharine's at their newest store location. I would definitely shop there again. If I could give them some advice it would be to have a few trucks with regular drivers to do their deliveries in stead of renting rental vans for the deliveries.

TERRIBLE CONSTOMER SERVICE AND A NON DELIVERED COUCH!!!!!!!

So I never do reviews but I thought this had to be shared. I am so annoyed. They told me the couch would be brought to my house on the 16th of September. Then they call me a billion times per day telling me they can only bring it on the 23rd, even though the set day was the 16th and that's when I made arrangements out of my day to be home. They don't show up on the 16th. When I call they tell me that they are delivering on the 23rd, but they never thought of calling me, so I wasted my whole evening that night waiting for these people. Then they call me a day before the 23rd a billion times and tell me they can't deliver it at all because it's "broken" and i'll have to pick another couch, when I already paid the shipping and handling fees and I paid for the actual couch. Then they tell me I can pick another couch and they tell me that I can pick another couch instead and they will send prices and pictures to me, they only sent 1 picture and no prices. they told me that i could pick one in the same price range, but they only sent one and they gave no prices. probably trying to rip me off or something and every time they call it is excuse after excuse. and I probably won't get the couch I paid for which was 1,000$ plus. I told them I want a refund as this is the second time they have NOT delivered what I paid for. I personally recommend that they get there company in check because I've made multiple sacrifices for this couch and they appear to be incapable of delivering the product. so basically I lost 1,000$ + I also recommend you DO NOT shop here. Has been a terrible, unprofessional, time consuming, waste of my time and energy and just feels like one big SCAM.

Unstatified delivery from ROOMS FURNATURE

I purchased a sectional for my basement from Rooms in Mississauga. On Sunday 16 2015 and paid in full including delivery of $75.00. I advised the sales rep I need this delivered to the basement. he said no worries when they arrive you tell them where to take it. So on Aug 19 2015 @ 4pm they arrived I said hi guys please bring it in and take it downstairs in basement as per my agreement with sales rep. the *** Punjab that came said sorry we deliver to main floor only. drop all pcs in the hall way of the main floor blocking all stairs door ways washeroom and left. called office receptionist said sorry that is our contract we have with the drivers main floor I asked for a manager she said will have one call you and still nothing. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS ROOMS FURNATURE THERE PRODUCT SUCK IT WAD DELIVERIED TO FRONT DOOR AND DAMAGED.

Unprofessional business practise

Rooms furniture in Brampton located at Steeles and Torbram is the worst place to shop at. They take your money then give you the run around when it's time to get your product. Had some bedroom furniture on layaway and when I went to make the last payment and set a delivery date, the manager got on the phone and spoke to someone in his language, after which he told me to "hold on to the money for now someone will call you from the warehouse on Monday." I thought it was strange; but I went along with it. Monday came and went without a call, I Tuesday all the way back to Friday all the while someone keep saying someone will call me back, each time I speak to an associate to find out about my merchandise I would get the same response after being placed on hold; "someone will call you back." Finally I had to threaten to expose them by going public after two weeks of putting up with their ***. I went back to the store and was finally told they no longer have the furniture in stock and I should look around for something else, I did but couldn't find any thing that I wanted, plus at this point I didn't trust them and demanded to have my money back, again the young lady called someone and in front of me starting to speak in her language, I advised her that this is very unprofessional of her and that I will be sending a letter to the better business bureau, finally when she realized I was serious about my intentions she agreed to give me my money, I had her signed a document at that point.

Rooms furniture, Brampton and Mississauga- GARBAGE FURNITURE

Ordered a couch and shipped it north to my home. Set it up, sat down on it and springs broke. Nothing like the show room pieces for quality..garbage in a box!! Called the store- they said-no returns and no exchanges. Called the other store..they said it was not their problem. Rude dismissive management, *** poor quality product. Only saved $150. over the traditional bigger box locations.. should have listened to my kids and paid the extra little bit to get a quality piece with a real warranty! Buy from a retailer that will at least treat you with respect.

I went to the store in St. Catharines to buy a simple pillow top mattress and box spring. I told the store owner that I wanted a double set. he gave me a pillow top mattress and told me it was a double. i brought it home and it sat against my wall for a couple weeks as i was preparing the bedroom for the bed. i got a call a week later telling me that my box spring was in. i went to the store to pick it up to find out it was a queen box spring. the salesperson apologized and said he'd order the right one and it would be about another week. i work on customer service so i am pretty patient with things like this. i didn't get a call so i decided to call them to see if my box spring was in. they said yes. that same day, i put my metal bed rails together (fit for a double bed) and found that my mattress was actually a queen size! so i called the owner back and told him he sold me a queen and not a double. he argued with me on the phone telling me it was a double. like really?!? so i go to the store and asked the sales person there how wide a queen is. sure enough, it was the same size as the owner sold me. the salesman called the owner who wanted to speak with me. again, he argued with me telling me it was a double he sold me and not a queen. at this point, my husband began to get furious. customers in the store everywhere and that owner didn't care. i asked for some kind of compensation...first thing i asked was if he could deliver the new mattress and pick up the other one; that was a no..then i asked for the boxspring (50.00) to be free of charge for all our trouble...said no to that too. then i asked for a better quality mattress at no extra cost, again, a no. the salesperson tried really hard to fight for us without success. the salesman ended up giving me the boxspring for free and gave me a better quality double mattress at no extra cost with a huge apology. he did this against the owner's wishes. i've learned my lesson here. i might of paid 250.00 for a box and mattress but the aggravation and severe lack of customer service and ownership was not worth the savings. i'd rather pay more the next time around. beware....

Never shop here! They have the worst customer service and take no accountability for their own mistake. We purchased a chair and paid full for delivery as well, we were told the chair will be delivered after 3 days. The chair was not delivered 3 days later neither were we informed that the delivery will be rescheduled. We called the store next day and was told due to the cold weather their truck is not working and the delivery of the chair will be scheduled another 3 days later. Again the second time we waited and waited and no delivery, no phone call from the store... No courtesy to the customer. Again the third time we called the following day, waited for more than 30 mins on the phone to speak with anyone to let us know what happened with our delivery. Finally a lady named Lovely came on the phone and who was no help at all and transfered to her manager after 1 HOUR holding and waiting, managers name wad mandy. Mandy said she does not work for rooms and furniture and we were shocked! We said we met u in person and you took our money for thr delivery so how can u deny not working for rooms and furnitire company. She than said ok i remember you and transfered to another manager by the name of Khushi. I don't understand what type of business this is where people deny working there... Very unprofessional. Finally after a long time on the phone with Khushi she said the chair will be delivered the next day. So again for the fourth time we waited and waited and no delievery. No sympathy or understanding for the customer. They kept making excuses about why the chair has still not been delivered for example, the system is down or we cant find your file or the databade is not up to date with delivery option etc. Everyday we have been moving all the cars out of the driveway in -26 weather and coming home early to wait for this delivery all evening long. Lastly, manager named Khushi who promised us the chair will be delivered said because of thr power outage the chair was not delivered, what a surprise here the chair did not arrive next day. Nobody in the company takes responsibility and they all lie and feed customer b.s. excuses. This company is deceitful and has extremely poor customer service. Never shop here. . stay away! Go someplace else please. We received the chair after the 6th time finally and still had to pay full price for chair and the delivery charge!!! When we asked for refund they said they will deduct 25%. They are full of b.s. excuses and after 6 times of harassing them we received our chair.

WORST QUALITY FURNITURE and SERVICE

Roomsonline.ca - delivery of furniture and bad cust service Never ever buy from here or face this. 01 March 2015 : Brought sofa set and was promised delivery after 5pm on 06 Marchsince all three in family are working. Delivery guy calls in at 3 pm and says he will reach by 4pm. Delivery for that day cancelled. Call them 6 times and then finally delivery set for 15th on mutual time. Calls on 15th and says delivering at 6pm. Reaches at 8pm. We call at 0815pm moments after the delivery saying sofa is damaged. Response you must have damaged it. To return deduct 25% or to reorder pay delivery charges of 100$ again. When told customer service is bad, and we will never buy again from you...then answer is its ok. It was almost as if they do not care and the delivery manager Mindy never picks up call if your number is known. Standing outside store we called from cell number and observed she did not pickup. Called from friends number and she picked up instantly. Mythird friend was in store near her office to see this. Wow.....spread word around...save others from trouble. In end after 35 days of daily calling and complaining sofa delivered finally at doorstep at 4pm when deal was it would be put in living room. Wife had to take half day to get delivery Wife had to wait till son and I got from work to pick it and get in. Oh ya second delivery was returned due to wrong sofa. All I really know of the subject is that a project coordinator at furniture speak will gladly give you a huge *** show on webcam during business hours. Or suck your *** while she speaks to her husband Jim on her cell phone. Also she can give you an incurable case of genital herpes.
